These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TourAfrica website and our tour booking services. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment and issuance of a written confirmation from us.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- You are responsible for ensuring that all details provided at time of booking are accurate.
- A booking confirmation will be sent to your provided email address within 24 hours.
2. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in the currency displayed and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed.
- A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure.
- Full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days of departure.
- Payments can be made via Paystack or Stripe (credit/debit card) or bank transfer. All payments are processed securely.
- Prices include only the services specifically listed in the tour description. Any additional services or activities will be charged separately.
- International bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
4. Changes to Bookings
- Date changes requested more than 30 days before departure may be accommodated subject to availability and a USD 50 amendment fee.
- Changes requested within 30 days of departure will be treated as cancellations and rebookings, subject to cancellation charges.
- We reserve the right to make changes to tour itineraries due to safety, weather or operational requirements.
- In the event of significant changes made by us, you will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours. Your policy must cover:
- Emergency medical treatment and evacuation
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Lost or delayed baggage
- Personal liability
Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. We accept no responsibility for costs arising from inadequate insurance cover.
6. Health, Fitness & Visas
- You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and healthy enough to participate in your chosen tour.
- You must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
- You are responsible for obtaining all required visas, vaccinations and travel documents. We can provide guidance but accept no liability for denied entry.
- Yellow fever vaccination certificates are required for travel to many African countries.
7. Our Liability
- We act as tour operators and accept responsibility for properly arranging your tour as described.
- We are not liable for death, injury, loss or damage arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, terrorism, or pandemic.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the total tour price paid by you.
- We are not responsible for any consequential losses including lost business, flight costs or visa fees.
8. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including government action, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, strikes, or acts of terrorism. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer suitable alternatives or credits.
9. Conduct & Behaviour
We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund if their behaviour is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or detrimental to wildlife, the environment, other guests, or staff.
10. Photography & Privacy
Photos and videos taken on our tours may be used by us for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt out in writing. You agree not to use our brand materials without prior written consent.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
